President’s Message – Rotary Year 2026–2027
I am deeply honored to lead the Rotary Club of Hong Kong South in the Rotary Year 2026–2027. As part of Area 3 within Rotary District 3450, and under the guidance of District Governor CP Jimmy Lau, our club is ready to embrace this year’s Rotary International theme: “Create Lasting Impact.”
Since our charter on 30th May 1973, under the vision of Charter President Dennis Ting, Hong Kong South has grown into a vibrant fellowship of professionals united by Rotary’s core values—service, fellowship, integrity, diversity, and leadership.
Following Immediate Past President Praveen Daswani Esq., I step into this role at a time when the world needs Rotary’s spirit more than ever. This year, our focus is not only on serving but on ensuring that the work we do leaves a legacy that endures.
Our Path Forward
- Community Service: Strengthening outreach programs for the elderly, supporting education, and addressing local needs with sustainable solutions.
- Youth Engagement: Through Interact, Rotaract, and RYLA, we will continue to inspire young leaders to serve with vision and integrity.
- Global Responsibility: Supporting Rotary’s international campaigns—from ending polio to providing clean water and disaster relief.
- Fellowship and Growth: Building a club culture where professionals connect, collaborate, and form lasting friendships rooted in Rotary’s ideals.
